GAUL. Massalia. Circa 500-475 BC. Hemiobol (Silver, 9 mm, 0.54 g), Milesian standard. Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Attic helmet adorned with a volute on the bowl. Rev. Rough incuse square. Auriol Group EB, 1 (same dies). LT 152. Maurel 17. Extremely rare and beautifully toned. The obverse struck slightly off center, otherwise, good very fine.
